Warrior's Way Home Base
at

Chester, Arkansas

A warrior who has seen tough duty needs a Place--somewhere safe where there is time and space for reflection and assessment, a place where privacy is strictly honored yet community is available when desired, a place of complete acceptance and understanding where there is no need to pretend, protect, explain, or apologize. Hike into the Ozark National Forest from our mountain retreat or sit and meditate surrounded by springs, woods, deer and turkey, peace and quiet. Spring is lush and green, fall and winter glorious with color.Such safe and peaceful places are rare. Warrior's Way is one.

On a mountain just above Chester, Arkansas midway between Ft. Smith and Fayetteville, lies 160 acres of mountain vistas, woods, spring fed ponds, streams, waterfalls, meadows, and forests dedicated as home to Warrior's Way Foundation and as a place of healing for warriors and their families. Nestled in the heart of the Boston Mountains, Warrior's Way sits atop a secluded mountain with thousands of acres of the Ozark National Forest just across the fence. When construction of our yurts and our facilities is completed in Summer, 2006, Warrior's Way will be a place of natural beauty, safety, and peace where warriors and their loved ones can come for "time out" to de-stress, de-tox, relax, and heal surrounded by the beauty of nature. Beginning in June, the facilities will be ready and The Foundation's Place & Time Program will be available to warriors and their loved ones.

Warrior's Way Home Base has been under construction for a year and a half. You can see photos of the work in progress here. If you like what you see, emails us for information, tell others to check it out, and remember us when things are tough. In the meantime, stay safe!
