There are many lineages of Reiki. Only a few have preserved the mental-emotional techniques taught by Takata and some of her Masters. Those at StoneWind are in one of the unbroken lineages that preserve, use, and teach a wide range of mental-emotional Reiki techniques. If you wish to receive training in a lineage that has kept some or all of these extended techniques intact, email for the names of teachers closest to you and/or be certain to interview a prospective teacher about his/her lineage and training in mental-emotional healing techniques. There is information here on how to recognize someone in an unbroken Reiki lineage.
